Cutting Edge New York City Green Building Laws Enacted

A package of legislation putting New York City squarely in the forefront of promoting green buildings was signed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg on December 28, 2009. The intent of the new laws is to lower the environmental impact of New Yorks built environment and create the ability to benchmark a buildings energy efficiency against similarly situated buildings.
