
Overview
Lauren Paull is a partner in the Real Estate practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Century City office. Lauren advises clients on land use, environmental and real estate development matters, with a focus on guiding projects through complex entitlement processes and related regulatory frameworks.
Lauren represents landowners and developers across asset classes on local planning and zoning issues, permitting, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance and state regulatory requirements, including the California Coastal Act and the Subdivision Map Act. Lauren has deep experience managing large-scale development projects that intersect with legal, political and community dynamics, often spanning multiple years and jurisdictions.
Her representations include major sports and entertainment complexes, desalination facilities, energy projects, school master plans, hotels and mixed-use residential developments, and projects with significant signage.
Lauren also is a registered lobbyist and frequently represents clients before local agencies and commissions.
In addition to her development-focused work, Lauren is active in pro bono service, including in support of Wayfinder Family Services. She is also active in civic organizations and serves on the board of Abode Communities.
