Michael Costello-Caulkins is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. Mr. Costello-Caulkins focuses his practice on intellectual property and technology matters with an emphasis on patent litigation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he was a mechanical engineer for six years in the electronic manufacturing industry.
Mr. Costello-Caulkins received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2021, where he served as Senior Production Editor of the Santa Clara High Tech Law Journal. During law school, he externed for the Honorable Susan Illston of the Northern District of California. Mr. Costello-Caulkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012. Mr. Costello-Caulkins is admitted to practice law in California. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
