Overview
Shannon Sylvester is an associate in the Privacy and Cybersecurity and the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice groups of Paul Hastings. She is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Ms. Sylvester worked at a boutique telecommunications law firm in Washington, D.C., where she advised clients on FCC regulatory and enforcement matters. Ms. Sylvester also previously worked at the Department of the Treasury, where she identified and mitigated national security threats on inbound foreign investment transactions into U.S. companies as part of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS). Ms. Sylvester helped negotiate and enforce national security agreements, including assessing penalties for noncompliance.
