Tad Richman is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property practice of Paul Hastings in the Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on all types of intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on trade secrets, investigations, and digital forensics. Mr. Richman routinely leads internal investigations related to sensitive trade secret matters for both domestic and international clients, and has considerable expertise managing complex forensic collections and working with expert witnesses. He has experience litigating all aspects of complex, international trade secret matters through trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Richman led the engineering team of a venture-backed startup company, where he designed and implemented robotic processing systems. Mr. Richman has considerable technical experience in the areas of manufacturing processes, computer hardware, software design, and digital media.
