Taylor Leighton is an associate in the Structured Credit practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on securitization and structured finance, with an emphasis on structured credit products and collateralized loan obligation transactions.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Taylor was part of the financial restructuring group of an international law firm, where he represented official creditors' committees and ad hoc groups of lenders in complex Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Taylor received his law degree from New York University School of Law, where he was an editor for the New York University Journal of Legislation & Public Policy. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both public policy studies and psychology from the University of Chicago. He is admitted to practice law in New York.
