Tejo Tunuguntla is an associate in the New York office of Paul Hastings’ Litigation Department, focusing on intellectual property law and privacy matters. Tejo received her law degree from the Antonin Scalia Law School in 2023, where she was a member of the Journal of Law, Economics and Policy. Prior to law school, Tejo earned a Bachelors degree in Statistics from the University of Virginia in 2018 and worked as a software engineer. Tejo is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York. 

Tejo represents industry leading corporations in proceedings in various federal District Courts, as well as at the International Trade Commission. Her practice spans a range of industries, as well as experience on the plaintiff and defense side. 

Tejo previously served as a member of the Paul Hastings team in an NDCA patent litigation representing AbCellera Biologics Inc. The litigation alleged infringement of patents covering microfluidic systems and methods for antibody discovery. The case ultimately concluded in 2025 with a global settlement, with the defendant agreeing to pay $36 million upfront plus ongoing royalties, resolving the dispute without a final trial judgment. Tejo has additionally served as a member of a Paul Hastings team in an ongoing Western District of Texas case regarding infringement allegations of semiconductor chip technologies. Tejo’s experience includes participation in every stage of the litigation process, from discovery, briefing, depositions, all the way to pretrial matters.

Tejo also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration and housing matters.
