Paul Hastings Receives “Outstanding” Commendation in World IP Review’s USA Trade Secret Rankings 2024

Paul Hastings’ Intellectual Property team earned an “Outstanding” commendation in the World IP Review’s (WIPR) USA Trade Secrets Rankings 2024. Described by our clients as “the firm of choice” in navigating the most complex, cross-border and international trade secrets counselling, investigations and litigations involving both civil and criminal components, this recognition represents the highest honor for a firm.

Our Intellectual Property partner Jeff Pade was also recognized as “Outstanding” in the individual category, for his role in representing our client Daiichi Sankyo in a multi-fora life sciences breach of contract, trade secrets and related IP dispute that concerned the client’s biotech cancer drugs. The trade secret litigation team delivered a resounding win for Daiichi Sankyo in what has been reported to be one of the largest-ever international arbitrations with a valuation of more than $70 billion. Jeff was one of only four partners who received this recognition.
