American Apparel in defeating an election petition by a startup union that had formed to bring the company’s former CEO back to the company, litigating in District Court on whether the startup was a legitimate labor organization under the NLRA and whether the scope of the bargained-for unit was appropriate.
Google in defending against multiple unfair labor practice charges brought on behalf of activist employees who violated important workplace policies to protest the company’s choice of customers and security policies, successfully obtaining dismissal of many of the charges.
Cognizant Technology Solutions in a test-of-certification case before the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals after the NLRB affirmed a regional director’s finding that the staffing company was jointly employing the workers at issue with a technology company that was the staffing company’s client.
University of Southern California in defeating an attempt to organize nontenured faculty. We litigated the case through the administrative hearing and before the NLRB and D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Completed project labor agreements for a variety of real estate, industrial, renewable energy and energy storage projects, including the Hollywood Park Development and L.A. Rams Stadium Project, Mare Island Naval Shipyard and Treasure Island Community Development.
