Amber John is an associate in the Financial Restructuring group and is based in the firm’s Houston office. Her practice focuses on representing creditors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies, including DIP lenders, official creditors’ committees, ad hoc groups of lenders and equity holders.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Amber served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Christopher M. López of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. Amber received her law degree, cum laude, from Baylor Law School in 2024. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in English and History from College of the Holy Cross in 2021.
