Overview
Elise Wurtman is an associate in the Employment Law practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Elise served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Patricia Bamattre Manoukian of the California Court of Appeal, Sixth Appellate District, and an extern at the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California.
Elise earned her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2025. During law school, she served as editor-in-chief for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and was the overall winner of the Roger J. Traynor Moot Court Competition. Elise earned her B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2022, where she graduated cum laude.
