Overview
Matt Downer is of counsel in Paul Hastings’ Fund Finance practice and is based in the firm’s Charlotte office. His practice focuses on fund finance and representing major financial institutions in negotiating and documenting subscription credit facilities, NAV financings and hybrid facilities to private equity, real estate and infrastructure sponsors.
Matt graduated with dual Canadian/American J.D.s from the University of Ottawa and Michigan State University College of Law, respectively, where he served as an editor for the Michigan State University College of Law International Law Review. He earned his B.A. from Dalhousie University.
