Overview

Taher Rhuma is an associate in the Real Estate Department and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing, leasing and sale-leasebacks.

Taher received his law degree from USC Gould School of Law in 2025, where he also earned a graduate certificate in Transnational Law and Business. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University Sacramento. While pursuing his undergraduate studies, he was an intern for the California Energy Commission.

During law school, Taher was a judicial intern for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul Bacigalupo in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Taher also served as senior production editor for the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice.

Taher is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
