London – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, received the “Most Innovative Use of Technology” award and, for the second year in a row, was commended in the “City Firm of the Year” category at “The Lawyer Awards 2022,” held 12^th July 2022 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

Credit funds partner Diala Minott, and private funds associates Adam Saarany and Gabriella Omorphou, as well as Cathy Goodman, Jason Dirkx, Michael Whalen and Rohit Jayawardhan from the firm’s Practice Innovation department, were responsible for the awarded technology, which is an automation tool that assists in the funds launch process.

“Our new tool will reduce the staffing needed to run the MFN process for both lawyers and clients, allowing a smooth onboarding process for investors and saving hundreds of hours of lawyer time,” said Minott. “I believe it’s likely to become industry standard in the fund space and is a prime example of how Paul Hastings approaches funds work innovatively.”
