FinTech Washington Update Presented by Paul Hastings with Keynote by U.S. Representative David Scott, Georgia’s 13th Congressional District

Please join Paul Hastings' FinTech & Payments and Government Affairs practices for an afternoon session providing an update by Chris Daniel, Chair of the global FinTech & Payments practice and Dina Ellis Rochkind, head of the Legislative Affairs practice, on FinTech regulatory and legislative issues followed by a keynote address by Congressman David Scott. Congressman Scott - a leading voice on financial services issues - represents the 13th Congressional District of Georgia which includes parts of Atlanta.

Congressman Scott is a Senior Member of the House Financial Services Committee where he serves on the Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, and the Capital Markets and Government Enterprises Subcommittees. He is also a Senior Member on the Agriculture Committee, which has jurisdiction over the CFTC. On the House Agriculture Committee, Congressman Scott is Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Congressional FinTech and Payments Caucus.
