Paul Hastings Wins Loan Team of the Year at 2020 IFLR Americas Awards

New York – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, was recognized as “Loan Team of the Year” by International Financial Law Review at its 2020 Americas Awards. The Firm’s representation of Santander, as Administrative Agent and a Lead Arranger, BBVA Bancomer, as Sustainability Agent and a Lead Arranger, and nine other international banks in connection with an approximately $1.1 billion Sustainability Linked Revolving Credit Agreement entered into by Fibra Uno, was also shortlisted as “Deal of the Year” in the Loan category. The loan is the first ever in Latin America to be arranged in accordance with the “Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles,” which offer favorable interest rates for meeting certain sustainability targets.
