Paris - Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised POWERHOUSE HABITAT (a real estate company managed by Scaprim and whose main shareholders are Sogécap and Cardif) on the acquisition of a residential portfolio of 16 assets from EDF, representing 380 housing units and more than 31,000 m² of living space, valued at €218 million.

The transaction involved the acquisition of an 85% stake in SCI César IDF by POWERHOUSE HABITAT, with EDF retaining 15% as part of a partnership.

Paul Hastings advised POWERHOUSE HABITAT and Scaprim on the acquisition, the implementation of the partnership with EDF, as well as on the financing granted by NATIXIS for the refinancing of the contribution of the portfolio to SCI César IDF by EDF as part of a sustainable financing agreement for an amount of €101 million reflecting CSR commitments.
