
Overview
Alicia M. Harrison is an associate in the Investment Management practice group of the Corporate practice at Paul Hastings. Her area of practice concentrates on the rules and regulations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Ms. Harrison advises private pooled investment funds, investment advisers and investment companies on all aspects of their organization, registration and operation, including regulatory and compliance matters.
She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. degree. Ms. Harrison received her J.D. degree from Loyola Law School at Los Angeles, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an Executive Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
Ms. Harrison is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She also serves as a member of the West Coast Regional Committee of the National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA).
