Overview

Carl Hudson is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Orange County office. His practice focuses on securities litigation, investigations and white collar defense, and complex business litigation.

Mr. Hudson received his law degree, with a pro bono distinction, from Stanford Law School in 2017. While at Stanford, he coordinated the school's Tax Pro Bono Project, which assists lower-income individuals in preparing and filing their tax returns, served as a Senior Editor for the Stanford Law and Policy Review, and was a Kirkwood Moot Court quarterfinalist, also receiving the Best Respondent's Brief Award for the competition. 

He also externed at the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office in connection with Stanford's Criminal Prosecution Clinic, where he conducted direct and cross examination and closing argument in misdemeanor evidentiary proceedings, and argued successfully for a guilty verdict in a misdemeanor court trial. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 2014, where he graduated summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Hudson is admitted to practice law in California.
