Overview

Daye Shim Cho is an associate in the Litigation practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on cross-border investigations and compliance, with a particular emphasis on anti-corruption and human rights. She has represented clients on matters involving the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA") and international human rights law.

Ms. Cho received her law degree, cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2021, where she served as an Executive Editor of the American Criminal Law Review and a Law Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program. During law school, Ms. Cho worked in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Office of the Chief Counsel for International Commerce at the U.S. Department of Commerce. She was also a student attorney in Georgetown’s Civil Litigation Clinic. Ms. Cho earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 2014.

Ms. Cho is admitted to practice law in New York and is supervised by members of the District of Columbia Bar.
