Overview
Eric Wong is of Counsel in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. His practice encompasses capital markets transactions, in particular initial public offerings (as counsel to issuers and underwriters), international debt offering transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other general corporate work. Mr. Wong is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

- Midea Real Estate, a large renowned national property developer in the PRC, in its US$392 million global offering and IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. BNP Paribas and CLSA acted as the joint sponsors, together with CICC and Morgan Stanley as the joint global coordinators for the listing.
- Jiangxi Bank on its US$952 million global offering and listing of its H shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. CCB International Capital Limited, and CLSA Limited acted as joint sponsors of the global offering. Jiangxi Bank is the only provincial city commercial bank in Jiangxi Province, China.
- SIIC Environment Holdings Limited, a Singapore SGX – ST listed company engaging in water treatment, solid waste treatment and other environment-related businesses, in its dual primary listing of ordinary shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by way of introduction. Credit Suisse acted as sole sponsor of the dual primary listing.
- Zhongyuan Bank, the largest city commercial bank in Henan province, China, in its US$1.04 billion global offering and listing of its H shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. CITIC CLSA, JP Morgan, CCB International and CMB International acted as the joint sponsors of the global offering.
- Morgan Stanley, HSBC and Citi as the underwriters in the US$491 million global offering and IPO of Crystal International Group Limited, a Hong Kong apparel manufacturer and supplier of leading international fashion brands including Uniqlo and H&M, on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- BOSC International Company Limited (Bank of Shanghai) as sole sponsor on the US$15 million global offering and IPO of AP Rentals Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong construction equipment rental service company.
- Advised the underwriters on the Hong Kong IPO and global offering of Hong Kong security brokerage and financial services firm, one of the largest in Hong Kong.
