Maryam Sonboli-Dieguez is an associate in the Employment Law practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, in both single-plaintiff and class-action matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and trade secret matters in both federal and state courts.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Ms. Sonboli-Dieguez served as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego.
Ms. Sonboli-Dieguez earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2020. During law school she served as a staff editor on the Journal of IP and Entertainment Law and on the boards of the Latinx Law Student Association and Domestic Violence Advocacy Project. She received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in business from the University of California, San Diego, cum laude, in 2017.
Ms. Sonboli-Dieguez serves as a Co-Chair of Paul Hastings’ Hispanic and Latino Affinity Network.
