Lindsey Henrikson Named One of ABI’s ‘40 Under 40’

October 14, 2025

The American Bankruptcy Institute has recognized Paul Hastings Financial Restructuring partner Lindsey Henrikson as one of this year’s “40 Under 40” honorees.

The 2025 class comprises individuals under the age of 40 who “demonstrate remarkable ability, leadership and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.”

Lindsey spearheaded the strategy for Reficar, a Colombian state-owned refinery, in parallel legal proceedings in the U.S., U.K. and Netherlands to preserve a $1.3 billion arbitration award against McDermott International. This included overseeing the longest U.K. Chapter 26A trial on record and securing the first commercial WHOA appointment of an independent insolvency administrator.

The cross-border settlement was awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute’s International Matter of the Year.

Lindsey’s other recent work includes representing Antares Capital in the Shoes for Crews bankruptcy and leading lender-side negotiations in Acorda Therapeutics’ bankruptcy, securing DIP financings, credit bids and value-maximizing outcomes.

In 2025, she also was ranked by Chambers as Up and Coming, recognized as a Law360 Rising Star and named one of Turnarounds & Workouts’ “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers.”
