Antitrust and Competition
Life Sciences and IP: Navigating the Current Antitrust Environment
The U.S. antitrust landscape is changing for companies across industries, and particularly in life sciences. Key government officials are poised for action, and in significant ways are already making their mark. Changes are occurring in the government’s approach to antitrust at multiple levels, from legislative reform to new applications of existing laws to increased enforcement. In our video series, Antitrust and Competition partner Michael Murray provides an overview of the new antitrust environment—including detailed discussion of key officials and important recent developments; pay-for-delay agreements and patent law; criminal enforcement, civil investigations and mergers; and compliance considerations.
In our videos, Mr. Murray shares insights from his significant government experience. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, he served as the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice.
