• Legal Training. Our first-year associates enjoy monthly practice-specific instruction and broader training on leadership, technology and career advancement to sharpen their legal acumen and business judgment. Mid-level associates join a symposium that explores paths to partnership or alternative careers and creates personalized plans. The Talent Development leadership team bolsters associates’ growth through regular in-person visits, engagement and dialogue.
• Career Development. Associates receive personalized coaching from our in-house director of attorney careers, as well as guidance on professional development, goal setting, mentorship, networking and career planning. We also provide confidential access to in-house and other legal opportunities with clients and leading organizations.
• Growth and Feedback. Throughout the year, associates receive regular guidance from partners and supervising lawyers through real-time feedback, career development discussions and formal check-ins focused on their goals and performance.

The Paul Hastings Fellowship, established in 2013, is available to select first- or second-year law students who demonstrate a commitment to promoting our culture of community, opportunity and inclusion.
