Augusto Ferreira is an associate in the Structured Credit practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on representing domestic and international investment banks, commercial finance companies, direct lenders, private equity funds and originators in all aspects of complex financings, including leveraged, specialty, asset-based and repo transactions, with a particular emphasis in the fintech market.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Augusto practiced law in Brazil, representing small companies in a variety of corporate matters. He also clerked in the Brazilian Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Augusto graduated First in Class from Penn State Dickinson Law, where he served as editor in the Journal of Law & International Affairs. He earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in 2020.

Augusto is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and in Brazil.
