Darryl Long is a Chicago-based corporate Of Counsel at Paul Hastings. He represents startups, emerging growth companies and investors in private companies on complex domestic and cross-border transactions across the full business lifecycle, including venture capital and private equity financings, growth equity transactions, buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, tender offers and other liquidity transactions.

Darryl also advises founders, management teams and boards of startups and emerging growth companies from formation to exit on a wide range of strategic corporate matters, corporate governance matters, securities law compliance and other legal matters. He also advises venture capital funds, family offices and other investors in private companies on their primary and secondary investments and portfolio company matters.

Darryl earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his undergraduate degrees from University of Miami (FL).

He is admitted to practice in Illinois, New York and Florida.
