David Fox is an associate in the Litigation practice and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. His practice focuses on intellectual property and technology matters with an emphasis on patent litigation.
Mr. Fox received his law degree in 2019 from the University of California, Davis School of Law. He graduated law school with a certificate in Intellectual Property. During law school, Mr. Fox served as an Articles Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ronald H. Sargis, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California. Mr. Fox earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2011. Mr. Fox is admitted to practice in California.
- Gesture Technology Partners v. Samsung Elecs. et al. (E.D. Tex.): Reprseented Samsung against non-practicing entity asserting patents relating to movement-detection technology. Case settled favorably before trial.
- DivX, LLC v. MediaTek Inc. et al. (E.D. Tex.): Represented DivX to vindicate breach of contract, tort, and RICO claims. Case settled favorably after filing complaint.
