David Manson is a partner in the Restructuring and Finance practice at Paul Hastings, in the firm’s London office. Mr. Manson advises stakeholders across the capital structure in work out negotiations, liability management transactions, special situations investing, complex UK and cross border restructurings and the planning for and execution of formal insolvencies including pre-packaged insolvency and administration sales and distressed M&A transactions. Mr. Manson is very experienced working across jurisdictions, and he provides pragmatic and strategic legal advice to clients concerning their distressed debt and special situations investments. Mr Manson’s practice also encompasses advising lenders and borrowers in new money situations, and acting for credit funds and other investors in the deployment of capital in stressed and distressed situations.
Mr. Manson has worked with administrators and proposed administrators, and other insolvency practitioners on all aspects of insolvency and corporate restructuring as well as advising boards of directors on their responsibilities when dealing with turbulent periods of financial stress in the business.
Before joining Paul Hastings, he was a partner at another leading U.S. law firm.
