Fitsum Tilahun is an associate in the Corporate Department and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on the financing and development of infrastructure assets, primarily in the power, renewables, sustainable development and digital infrastructure sectors.

Fitsum has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as private and public company borrowers in structuring and documenting secured and unsecured credit facilities and other financing transactions, including acquisition financings, cross-border financings, direct lender and clubbed credit facilities and syndicated facilities. He also has considerable experience in advising public companies and boards of directors on compliance and corporate governance matters, including general corporate and securities counseling and preparing and reviewing documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. 

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Tilahun spent over a decade at leading international law firms and as an in-house counsel at a Fortune 100 corporation.
