
Overview
Jack Mayall is a London-based partner in Paul Hastings’ Real Estate practice.
Jack focuses on real estate, real estate finance and private equity real estate, acting for a variety of corporates, REITs and lending institutions.
He has extensive experience in a wide range of transactions across the full investment cycle of real estate assets, including direct and indirect acquisitions and disposals, real estate development, and landlord-and-tenant leasing and investment management transactions, as well as numerous financing structures advising both borrowers and lenders. His experience covers a range of asset classes, including healthcare, senior housing and assisted living, hospitality, wind, solar and energy-from-waste facilities, casinos, data centers, student accommodations, sports stadia, hotels and leisure, offices, mixed-use developments, retail portfolios and residential assets. Jack regularly advises on the real estate aspects of M&A transactions on both the buyer and seller sides.
In addition, Jack has acted for a variety of charitable and third-sector institutions on a pro bono basis on both real estate and non-real estate matters and was named in The Law Society’s Pro Bono Recognition List 2026.

- A U.S. REIT on multiple acquisitions of senior living portfolios and RIDEA-compliant restructurings.
- Macquarie Asset Management on its clients’ investment in £400 million in notes related to a portfolio of commercial ground leases. In this innovative transaction, the notes are secured against a portfolio of 55 ASDA supermarket sites across the U.K.
- Northwood Investors on the sale and financing of 20 Gracechurch St., London.
