Overview
Jordan Rhodes is an associate in the London office of Paul Hastings and a member of the firm’s Structured Credit practice. The scope of Mr. Rhodes’ practice comprises structured finance and securitisation transactions, with a particular focus on collateralised loan obligations (CLOs). Mr. Rhodes represents arranger banks, investment managers, issuers, lenders and financial institutions on a broad range of capital markets transactions, including warehouse financing, CLO new issuances and resets, retention financing, fund leverage facilities, rated feeder funds, SME alternative lending platforms and finance-linked hedging arrangements. Mr. Rhodes has recently advised clients such as AlbaCore, Acer Tree, Arini, Bank of America, Barclays, Canyon, Citi, Credit Suisse, CVC, Deutsche Bank, Eurazeo, Goldman Sachs, i80 Group, Jefferies, Morgan Stanley, Natixis Investment Managers International, PGIM, Sculptor, Serone and ThinCats.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Rhodes practiced in the capital markets and derivatives group of another leading international firm in London and, throughout his career, has undertaken three client secondments at global financial institutions. Mr. Rhodes is admitted to practice in England & Wales and in Scotland.

- Regularly advises arrangers and investment managers on European CLO transactions, including new issues and resets.
- Advised several investment managers on their debut European CLO issuances.
- Advised the arranger and senior lender in relation to a €500 million fund leverage facility with a Canadian pension plan for the acquisition of broadly syndicated loans and middle market loans.
- Advised the arranger and senior lender in relation to a permanent warehouse facility provided to an investment manager.
- Advised the arranger and senior lender in relation to a €500 million fund leverage facility with a global investment manager for the acquisition of middle market loans.
- Advised a fund manager in relation to several rated feeder fund note issuances, including an issuance as part of its broader €2.3 billion direct lending fund.
- Advised a global financial institution in relation to the sale of its CLO management business.
- Advised the arranger and senior lender in relation to a €475 million fund leverage facility with a global investment manager for the acquisition of middle market loans.
- Advised an alternative lender in relation to a US$65 million credit agreement with an e-commerce operator to finance the acquisition of e-commerce applications.
- Advised the arranger and senior lender in relation to a €1.4 billion fund leverage facility with a global investment manager for the acquisition of middle market loans.
- Advised the platform servicer on the structuring of multiple asset-backed facilities.
