Kimia Favagehi is an associate in the Litigation Department and is based in the firm's New York City office. Her practice focuses on data privacy and cybersecurity. Kimia’s practice focuses on advising clients on data privacy and cybersecurity risks during mergers and acquisitions and advising on compliance with international, state and federal privacy, security and data breach laws. Kimia also has extensive experience in artificial intelligence, biometric privacy, employment privacy and data breach investigations.
Kimia received her law degree from the George Washington University Law School in 2022, where she was a member of the school's Federal Communications Law Journal. Also, during law school, Kimia was a research assistant for Daniel Solove, a leading scholar in information privacy law.
