Mahmood Kawany is an Associate at the Frankfurt office of Paul Hastings in the firm’s Corporate Department. He was admitted to the German bar in 2018.

He focuses on all aspects of German commercial and corporate law and advises corporate clients, private equity and venture capital funds, and family offices, as well as other financial investors on investments, complex national and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.

He has broad experience in all aspects of private equity transactions and regularly advises his clients on a wide range of industries and markets—particularly in Technology and Life Sciences.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mahmood worked for an international German law firm and a high-end US law firm in their Private Equity and Corporate/M&A departments.
