
Overview
Sarah Loecher is an associate in the Fintech practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on regulatory and compliance matters relating to non-bank financial institutions, including those involving payment, money transmission, the regulation of digital assets and other financial services laws. Sarah assists clients in submission of applications for money transmission and virtual currency activity licenses, including building compliance policies, managing the client accounts in the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry, and other regulatory communications.
Sarah has domestic and international legal and compliance experience working in-house at various financial institutions. She also has regulatory experience working for foreign Securities and Anti-Money Laundering Authorities.
Sarah received a master’s degree in corporate governance and practice from Stanford Law School (LL.M), a master’s degree in public and international law from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (LL.M) and a law degree (LL.B) from Netanya Academic College.
Sarah is admitted to practice law in California and in Israel.
