Overview
Stéphane Henry is a partner in the Employment Law practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Paris office.
Stéphane advises high-profile U.S.-based and French clients on all aspects of employment law, with a focus on areas including mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, business transfer legislation, relationships with employees' representative bodies and unions, as well as other human resources management matters. He has specialized in particular in the new technologies, chemistry and entertainment sectors.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings in 2006, Stéphane worked in two international law firms based in Paris. He also served as an in-house employment and labor counsel for Accenture.

- Advising a leading France-based provider of additives in connection with a range of employment matters, including an HR reorganisation plan; employee relation matters with unions, works council and their respective counsels; and the termination of key employees.
- Advising a leading France-based automotive benchmarking company in connection with the recruitment of senior employees in France and abroad; secondment of employees; collective relations with the works council and their experts; right of alert procedures in connection with the economic difficulties faced by the company and infringement to employees’ fundamental rights; unfair competition; whistleblowing; reorganisation; and termination of key employees and the subsequent litigation before the employment tribunal.
- Advising Alixio Group on the employment law aspects of its acquisition of X-PM, a leading provider of premium interim management services in France and abroad.
- Advising Exens Solutions, backed by FCDE, a leading France-based investment firm, on the employment law aspects of its acquisition of AR Électronique, a specialist in time-frequency components and subsystems for mission-critical environments.
- Advising Keensight Capital on the employment law aspects of the LBO of Sogelink, the leading France-based cloud and mobile solutions provider founded in 2000.
- Advising Exens Group, backed by FCDE, on the employment law aspects of the acquisition of Bowen, a leading player in the high-end communication and detection subsystems market, active in the defence, meteorology, energy and transport sectors.
- Advising BEX Capital and its shareholders on the employment law aspects of the reorganisation of its share capital.
- Advising EQT, as part of a consortium, on the employment law aspects of the acquisition of a 71.92% stake in Believe, a France-based listed company valued at €1.52 billion.
- Advising Keysight Technologies on the employment law aspects of the acquisition of a 50.6% stake followed by a tender offer on the entire share capital of ESI Group, a France-based listed company specialised in virtual prototyping solutions in the automotive and aerospace end markets, valued at €913 million.
- Advising DLPK on the employment law aspects of the strategic partnership between DLPK and APRIL.
- Advising Crédit Mutuel Equity on the employment law aspects of its majority investment in Claire Group, the leading France-based provider of equipment and performance-improvement solutions for water distribution infrastructure with a presence in 40 countries, together with Claire Group’s management team.
