Overview

David Kinnaird is an associate in the Litigation Department at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on appellate litigation and dispositive motions and other legal issues in trial courts and administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, David served as a law clerk for the Honorable Bridget S. Bade of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before clerking for Judge Bade, David was an associate at another prominent law firm in Washington, D.C. He also has published legal scholarship with the Notre Dame Law Review and the Virginia Law Review.

David received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as an articles editor of the Virginia Law Review. Before attending law school, David worked as an English teacher in Moscow, Russia. David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Classical Studies and minoring in Computer Science.
