
Overview
Elizabeth A. Parvis is an associate in the New York office of Paul Hastings and is a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation and Arbitration practice. She represents clients in high-stakes securities litigation matters and complex commercial disputes, and has broad experience advising institutional and individual clients, including public and private companies, financial institutions, large corporations and professional services firms in both state and federal courts.
Drawing on significant stand-up experience and strong written advocacy skills, Elizabeth counsels clients throughout all phases of litigation, consistently delivering winning outcomes and business-focused results.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Elizabeth practiced at a leading international law firm.
Elizabeth has been named a NY Metro Rising Star by Super Lawyers annually since 2020. She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, served as executive articles editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and interned for the Honorable Judge Sandra L. Townes in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

- Representing a major global auto manufacturer in a complex class action litigation alleging RICO and consumer fraud claims stemming from the alleged maintenance of undisclosed emissions “defeat devices”
- Advising a global media and marketing communications company in an Employee Retirement Income Security Act class action alleging that a retirement plan offered imprudent investment options
- Representing a major investment firm and ad hoc committee of bondholders in connection with a federal securities class action regarding a tender and exchange offer and resulting debt crisis negotiations
- Counsel to a NYSE-listed pharmaceutical company in connection with complex arbitrations related to disputes arising under certain development and intellectual property licensing agreements
- Representing an international commercial real estate data firm in connection with unfair competition, copyright infringement and Digital Millennium Copyright Act claims against a rival competitor
