Overview

Emma Lanzon is an Associate in the Litigation practice based in the firm’s Chicago office. Ms. Lanzon focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, and business and human rights, with a particular focus on ESG and human-rights related issues.

Ms. Lanzon’s active civil litigation practice includes matters involving business torts, breaches of contract, product liability, privacy violations, federal antitrust laws, and civil RICO claims. Ms. Lanzon also has led and conducted numerous investigations pertaining to public corruption, fraud, forced labor, sex trafficking, and sexual discrimination, among others. Ms. Lanzon’s active pro bono practices focuses on anti-trafficking and domestic violence-based asylum cases.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Ms. Lanzon worked for another international law firm, focusing on litigation and white collar defense. She received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan.
