Overview
Hiba Hassan is an associate in the Investment Funds & Private Capital practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's New York office. Ms. Hassan concentrates her practice on investment management matters. She assists in counseling investment funds, including mutual funds, closed-end funds, interval funds, tender offer funds, exchange-traded funds, business development companies and their investment advisers and fund boards on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters.
Ms. Hassan previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Christine M. Nugent at the Tax Court of New Jersey, and a legal extern at the Superior Court of New Jersey. During law school, Ms. Hassan was an associate editor and business and symposium editor at the Rutgers Race & the Law Review Journal, and a member of the Muslim Law Student Association. Ms. Hassan graduated law school with a Certificate in Corporate & Business Law.
