Jobaniel Perez Rios is an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's New York office. His practice focuses on intellectual property matters in the fields of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Jobaniel earned his law degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he served as editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review and the University of Puerto Rico Business Law Journal and as spokesperson for the Intellectual Property & Startups Pro Bono program. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, in 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico in 2022. Jobaniel is admitted to practice law in New York and Puerto Rico.
