Jose P. Salas is an associate in Paul Hastings' Corporate Department and is based in the firm's Houston office. His practice focuses on a diverse range of domestic and international energy-related transactions and projects, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and project development.

Jose received his law degree, summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2022, where he served as a member of the South Texas Law Review and brief writer on the Board of Advocates. He has been inducted to the Order of the Scribes and the Order of the Lytae. He was also recognized as the most outstanding student in his oil and gas courses by the Houston Bar Association Energy Law Section. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. Jose is admitted to practice law in Texas.
