Overview

Leah Martin is of counsel in the Antitrust and Competition practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. She advises clients across a wide range of industries on complex antitrust matters spanning civil litigation, merger and acquisition regulatory review and clearances, civil and criminal investigations, and compliance. Leah is recognized by Legal 500 (2024) as a Rising Star for her antitrust practice. While in law school, Leah interned at the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, National Criminal Enforcement Section, where she worked on a variety of criminal antitrust investigations.

  • Albertsons Companies in the FTC's and state attorneys general's challenges in federal and state court to its $24.6 billion merger with grocery store rival The Kroger Co.
  • Albertsons Companies in state attorneys general’s unsuccessful challenges in federal and state court that its payment of a $4 billion dividend to stockholders in connection with its proposed merger with The Kroger Co was anticompetitive. 
  • Fédération Française de Tennis, the organizer of the French Open, against allegations that professional tennis’s governing bodies operate as a cartel to suppress competition and exploit players.
