Overview

Ryan Enchelmayer is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is a member of the firm's IP Transactions and Licensing practice.

Mr. Enchelmayer's practice focuses on technology and commercial transactions, including licensing, research, software and IP development, collaboration, acquisition, carve-out, investment, lending, software and other services, manufacturing, supply, sale, resale, distribution, marketing and other commercial and technology-driven transactions and relationships. He regularly counsels companies on the protection, sharing and enforcement of their important technologies and associated IP rights, and has extensive experience in M&A, financing and other transactions involving IP diligence reviews and negotiation of key transaction agreements in connection with a broad range of domestic and international deals.

He represents public and private companies engaged in a variety of IP-intensive industries, including providers, developers, customers, buyers, sellers, investors, sponsors, researchers, lenders and borrowers in the software, software service, pharmaceutical, healthcare technology, data, information technology, electronics, communications, internet and web-enabled technology industries, among others.

Mr. Enchelmayer also works with clients to develop and implement trademark strategies and regularly files and prosecutes trademark applications.

Education

Mr. Enchelmayer received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. While at Berkeley Law, he was a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and the Berkeley Business Law Journal. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) in 2005.
