Overview

Terence Parker is an associate in the Litigation Department and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on antitrust and competition matters, including cartel defense, criminal investigations and litigation.

Terence previously served as a trial attorney in the Washington Criminal Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he investigated and prosecuted domestic and international antitrust and fraud violations, including bid rigging, price fixing, market allocation and procurement fraud. He was a member of the team that tried the first criminal no-poach case and a team that tried a major procurement fraud case. Terence received two Antitrust Division Assistant Attorney General Awards of Distinction.

Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Terence served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Honorable Mark R. Hornak in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

  • Served as DOJ trial counsel in a two-week conspiracy and wire fraud trial in the Western District of Texas resulting in defendant’s conviction for fraudulently obtaining over $240 million in federal contracts.
  • Served on DOJ trial team for a two-week criminal antitrust trial in the District of Colorado against Fortune 500 healthcare company and former CEO.
  • Served on DOJ team that investigated fraud and bid rigging by government contractors in South Korea leading to a corporate conviction and the indictment of multiple individuals.
