Paul Hastings LLP received the “Impact Deal of the Year” award at International Tax Review’s (ITR) 18th annual Americas Tax Awards 2023. The firm was recognized for advising TMF Trust Company (Argentina) S.A. in connection with Stoneway Capital Corporation’s $2 billion restructuring plan of reorganization pursuant to Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and a plan of arrangement pursuant to the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA) in conjunction with an out-of-court sale transaction of all or substantially all of Stoneway’s assets to MSU Energy Holding Ltd.
