Initial Public Offerings: United Kingdom

Securities and Capital Markets partner Dan Hirschovits and associate James Lansdown authored the United Kingdom chapter in Lexology’s In Depth: Initial Public Offerings. The chapter focuses on the UK IPO regime as it will operate under the Public Offers and Admissions to Trading regime, which comes into force on 19 January 2026. Dan and James concentrate on IPOs in the equity shares in commercial companies (ESCC) category of the FCA’s Official List and on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE), one of the UK’s regulated markets for listed securities.
