Overview

Matthew Poxon is a partner in the Corporate Department at Paul Hastings and co-chair of the London office. He advises clients on significant UK and cross-border corporate matters, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

He has extensive experience across the full spectrum of public and private M&A, including acquisitions and disposals, public takeovers, joint ventures, equity investments, and corporate governance matters. Matthew regularly leads high-profile, multi-jurisdictional transactions across a wide range of sectors, often involving complex structuring and regulatory considerations.

He is recognised by Chambers UK and recommended by The Legal 500 for Corporate/M&A.
