Paul Hastings LLP acted as sole international counsel to BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Mizuho Securities Asia Limited, MUFG Securities Asia Limited, and Société Générale, as joint lead managers, in connection with Hyundai Capital Services, Inc.’s dual-tranche issuance of US$500,000,000 5.125% Senior Bonds due 2027 and US$500,000,000 5.125% Senior Bonds due 2029 under its US$10 billion Global Medium Term Note Program. The transaction closed on February 5, 2024. The offering was conducted in reliance on Rule 144A and Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and the bonds were listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. 

Paul Hastings also assisted Hyundai Capital Services, Inc. and dealers with the update of its US$10 billion Global Medium Term Note Program, which was completed on January 15, 2024.

Hyundai Capital Services is a leading provider of consumer financial services ranging from automotive financing, automotive leasing and personal loans. It is a member company of the Hyundai Motor Group and operates as the primary auto financing arm of Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation.
