Paul Hastings LLP represented SMBC, MUFG, Deutsche Bank, Nomura, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, Credit Agricole, and Natixis, as lenders, in a $1.225 billion term loan and delayed draw loan facility to finance Aligned Data Centers’ acquisition of ODATA, a data center service provider offering scalable, reliable, and flexible IT infrastructure in Latin America, from Patria Investments. The deal involved multiple jurisdictions throughout Latin America, including Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.
